If this works the above link will lead you to a lovely picture about this year’s BOPA Symposium.  For the uninitiated, BOPA stands for the British Oncology Pharmacy Association which is a charity formed to share best practice in Oncology across all walks of pharmacy. There are nearly 1000 members and approximately 500 will be attending the symposium in Glasgow next Friday. I have been on the planning committee this year and am proud of the programme.  We kick off with Cancer Research UK and Macmillan talking about how cancer is changing for patients and move through the weekend like sponges soaking up clinical, political and research oncology information. As a celebratory one off we are aiming to break a Guinness world record on Saturday. It’s not too late to join in.
